investment

today i made one of the smartest investments of my life. i bought an umbrella. let me tell you, if you don't have a car and must walk and take the bus everywhere, it's not fun getting wet every day, especially when it's pouring like the sky is trying to send you a message. i also got a cell phone today. it's a prepaid (pay as you go) type deal, which is very expensive, but i'm not here long enough for a 1- or 2-year contract so this'll have to do.

the day after tomorrow i move to my permanent residence, and i'm excited to see what it's going to be like. o, i also bought a couple towels today, fyi.
