as soon as the alarm sounded we both woke up (as it was very very loud) and chris jumped out of bed like a chicken without a head, running around, opening the door to the room, panicking, which i have to say made me laugh (even while the alarm was ringing). as it was sounding we didn't know it was an alarm; at first i thought it was the radio (you have to remember, i JUST woke up, so i was still half asleep), so i unplugged the radio and the alarm stopped, which made me think it was the radio. later i called the lobby and asked (because chris told me the sound was coming from outside the room as well, which made me think twice about the "radio" idea), and they told me they were testing the fire alarm but the announcement didn't come through on the PA system. anyway, it wasn't a pleasant way to wake up.
today we went to the Gui
then we practiced how to get from the hotel to the airport so that we don't get lost tomorrow (since we have to wake up at 4:30 am). we didn't want any problems that early in the morning.
i guess that's Dublin's closing.

Momina and Bobina love you. Enjoy your trip. You are the reason I've finally been checking my emails.
Cool. I am curious about that beer's taste now. Will try it when it hits U.S. market
Hey Khal, so glad you are having fun. don't tell anyone about pulling the radio cord because they will never let you live it down (OOPS too late)I had a similar incident 20 years ago; i still hear about it from Bob and Sammy
